If you’re as busy as I’ve been lately, you’re probably clamoring over a few spare moments to pop in a fresh podcast and take your brain away from the present.

Podcasts have become the layman’s newspaper, book, blog, and much more. They’re a simple way of subconscious brain-picking too if you choose to do so like me. As such, I’ve spent the last few weeks listening to some new people, trying to find some inspiration that health and fitness coaches can put in their ears.

Turns out, experts are spilling their secrets about as fast as a middle schooler with a secret crush.

But with over 1,500,000 podcasts out there which ones are the best for health and fitness coaches?

No worries, the digging has been done for you. Here are the 5 best podcasts that every health and fitness entrepreneur needs to have in their life.

The Marie Forleo Podcast

Marie Forleo has created an incredible podcast and brand. Coined the thought leader for our generation by Oprah Winfrey herself, Marie runs one of Inc.’s 500 fastest growing companies and talks all about her journey and current insights.

Marie and her guests walk through strategies for more success, greater happiness, motivation, creativity, and productivity. Both entertaining and informative, Marie exemplifies for her listeners how to build a career that’s true to yourself, use your unique gifts, and create a life you love.

Marie’s crystal-clear business guidance is unlike 90% of what I’ve encountered from other “entrepreneurs”. While she covers some of the same topics, like marketing, sales, branding, copywriting, and mid-life career switches, Marie’s advice is as inspirational and motivating as it is practical and applicable.

She’s known to give many of her biggest business secrets away for free. Check out this episode of her podcast, where Marie talks about how to cultivate an abundance mindset and build a highly-profitable business.

The Tim Ferriss Show

This award-winning podcast should already be on your list. But if you haven’t tapped into Tim Farriss’ wise words, it’s about time.

As an entrepreneur, investor, author, and podcaster, Tim knows a thing or two about how to run a business. But rather than talking on and on about his own accolades, Tim is quick to turn the spotlight on other experts, and he’s been able to round up the best of the best, including the likes of Hugh Jackman, Kevin Hart, Madeleine Albright, and Brene Brown.

In each of Tim Farriss’ episodes, he interviews world-class performers and experts from all different fields. He deconstructs these world-class performers in order to tease out the habits, routines, favorite books, and so on that you can apply to your own life and business.

Tim’s ideas started catching attention after he published his book, The 4-Hour Workweek, where he explains that income has no practical value without time. In other words, he discovered that it doesn’t matter how much money you have if you don’t have time to enjoy it, and how to escape the rat race altogether.

Haven’t read his book? Then you’re wasting precious time. Listen to his book on audible and his podcast on his website.

Marketing Over Coffee

Covering both old school and new marketing tactics hosts John J. Wall and Christopher S. Penn publish a new show every Thursday morning. Perfect to pop on during a coffee break, this show covers marketing from all angles.

John and Christopher have found that the best and most practical business advice is found outside of the office and during casual and comfortable conversations with friends. That said, the hosts, as well as their interviewees, make sure to teach their listeners about the marketing methods that are essential for a reliable marketing strategy today.

Each episode packs in all kinds of marketing tips and tricks into about 20 minutes. Give a listen to their interview with one of our favorite marketers out there, Seth Godin. It’s a little longer than many of their other episodes but packed with Seth’s marketing wisdom.
